Emma Newman writes short stories, novels and novellas in multiple speculative fiction genres. Her novel, After Atlas, was shortlisted for the 2017 Arthur C. Clarke award and the third and fourth novels in the Planetfall series have been shortlisted for a BSFA Best Novel award. The series was shortlisted for the Best Series Hugo Award. Emma is also a professional audiobook narrator, and won the Alfie and Hugo Best Fancast Awards for her podcast Tea and Jeopardy. Emma is a keen role-player, painter and designer-dressmaker.
